im supposed to be studying hehehe.
shall take a break, have a kit kiat.
was listening to el camino and all the syf memories just came flooding back.
i remembered the moment we received the piece, huiwei and vanessa and ppl were complaining about the hight notes and how difficult it was.
hahaha. only glors jael and phy managed to reach all the notes!
and i remember sitting at the forum second level with jael gloria phy shu van and huiwei.
glors was teaching me and van cause we couldnt reach the hight notes.
so we played " mi la ti do re __ __ __ __ ___! me la ti do re __ ___ ___ __ !"
hahah so pathetic. but we managed to do it somehow.
and i cant remember when i began to reach the note.
but i believe me and van were surely jumping like mad and laughing crazily.
hahaha. and intensive training. self prac even mon, wed and fri.gosh haha
abit me and jingwen and jiaying just kept going down.
and our squad beegan working really hard and almost the whole squad was down. :D
shueli was very happy i remember! ahah.
me huiwei and the grey badge went down too.
i remember me and van had this "special scale" that we would always play before we begin secitonals.
tht scale is the one octave higher concert c major. haha
tht was to test whether we can play high notes for tht day.
band praac was tough but seem so funn!
me and van would always be very happy when we can play el camino well!
and as i was a fourth horner, i sat at the last seat and right beside persussion.
we ear was practically going BOOOOOOM!
haha alll the timpani, snare, xylo, bass drum smashing into my poor ear drum.
ahaha but allt hose clashing and banging kept me going on. :DD
i remember how rachel, onyu and jessica played their mallets part so well and pro!
like keeep runing up and down the xylo and marimba.
i remember chia telling me tht jessica looked like she was dancing beside the marimba while playing the chords part using FOUR sticks?!!?!?!
and i remember pam playing the woooden block thing haha.
our horns part was bravo. had so many soli. and we love this one romantic and slow part! and the whole section would stand at the forum and play it.
with the nice round echo, it sounded flawless! :DD
so beautiful! jael and gloria would always be there to make secitonals ever so fun and enjoyable! glors is like the mom and jael was our patrickstar!
i remember jael mimicking my funny laughter, making me and vanessa rolll on the flooor!
and there was many a times when miss sia just walked out. and make shueli and heads cry.
and we had mass pumping session. it was so scary =\
mr cher was so extra :" okay let the heads rest after 100 then continue with the other 100." like what the! -.-
and miss sia insisted tht all of us must move while playing.
and only our seciton moved! ahah. it was just another routine for glor cause she move everyday! ahaha. gosh
and before syf every one was just so tense.
after the whole playing, while waiting for the results, i saw the whole band
became a whole band. tht sound stupid
but you can see all of us, looking forward to the same goal and staying tgt as a band.
when tthe results were out, the whole band practically jummped and cried and hug anyone beside you, no matter what level what section.
and the emcee was like :" st nicks please dun fall off the seats!" haha.
we started singing our parts on the bus! haha it was really super delightful and happy.
never had i been so happy in band before. and the band went to KFC together :DD

was just wondering, will the next syf be as rewarding?
