i love the band and the juniors ( : except miss sia.

to the band(if any one ever reads this) : listen to your heads ah! grace, sarah, regina new and charlyne! Dont make things difficult for them and keep the band morale high! SCREAMS! if you bully the heads, we will take revenge!

to the 4 heads : continue to jiayou. i know it may seem a little difficult to coordinate everything but just kee trying. you will get the hang of it ( : show your authority! Dont hesitate to correct and scold or whatever to the band. but you must also know when to be nice and playful :D ahah! Keep the band morale high!

LIJIE: you conducted welll! ( : IM SO PROUD OF YOU! Don't take ms sia's scoldings too hard K :D we all know you can conduct ( : i will visit and help out whenever i can!

im so dead. i left so many chapter of every subject, particularly geography and social studies and maths to study. oh boy i haven't even touched on Amaths =\

anyway, class chalet was fun like DUH!! haha ( :
but the chalet's a little disappointing for me, well dirty mattresses, dusty and sandy floor, uncontrollable air con, dim lights, spooky toilets, tv set without DVD player!!!?!?!? i totally felt like i was living in a kampong in pulau ubin, well at least a better one with air con.

Cycling was superb ( : it just kept drizzling and stopping. It was amazingly fascinating how the sky cheated our feelings ) : it started drizzling and we decided to cover ourselves by standing under some very dense foilage. so it stopped and when we went out, it drizzled again but we didnt bother.So as we continue cycling, it drizzled quite heavily again so we seeked shelter at this little pavilion. and the rain stopped > :(. We decided to step out and it rained again! HOW IRRITATING! ahah
well and it finally stopped for us to play!
yeah! i love the play area at pasir ris park! it's so fun fun fun and extraordinary. you wouldn't find such playthings at our normal HDB playgrouds :D spider webbies, funny circuit web playgroud, swings!, merry go round on a plate, bouncy black platforms! EVERYTHING WAS SO INTERESTING! it totally felt like a little kid ( :
oh and it reminds me of student care days where we went to west coast park ( it has such playing facilities too) to play! aahha everyone just kept climbing the spider webbbby and i remembered something sweet happened up there (: my top little secret! hohohoho!

dinner was great, the food we ordered was rather yummy :D and i love tyhe honey dew sago desert! ate like mroe than 6 bowls in total. :P anyway we played truth and dare with miss yee and miss chooo! haha miss yee is so sporty :D and pamela was on a dare to take a picture with a life guard! :O hers was the most exciting and challenging dare! but she was rather sporty i must say. She just walked out of the chalet with all of us and walked up to the life guard. ahahaha! Its like a whole bunch of crazy girls laughing and chatting, armed with cameras walking towards the guy. He looked rather intimidated ahha and he's really shy. here's the picture!



my goodness. the life guard is really shy..He looks way too young for a life guard though. I was expecting a rather muscular and burly one haha. Maybe he got hidden swimming talent.. Pamela looks more muscular than him!!! :O

well, i must say we were rather scared to enter the school ahah. we stepped into the entrance of RI rather hesitantly and browsed at the map haha. we were deciding which stairs to take as there was this split stairs there. ahah
the band people thehre were quite nice.. :D i totally felt like rachel chia's full time maid, serving beside her every sec and every min ( :
We saw this maris stella perc guy who plays the marimba damn well! :O
anyway he played turkish dance. and we saw another PL perc girl who was playing the drum set ahha. and we saw CEDAR BAND GIRL, which never fails to remind me of prawn prawn prawn..
the school is SO GREEEEEN! Coincidentally, i was carrying a green crumpler, wearing green sports shoes and holding on to a green wallet =\ green freak..
I LIKE CHIA'S MALLET PIECE!its so happy-go-lucky and bouncy and cheerful and vibrant! :D

studied history at mossy burgery! crapped for sometimes before really concentrating on our LI SHI! chia is so full of crap!!!! She amuses herself with the facts given in the book like

1) millions of people from the 3 states JOIN HANDS TOGETHER to protests against the... okay so join hands together.. imagine all the citizens from 3 states literally joining hands one by one..ahahahah! and those who needs to cross the sea would be bobbling up and down by the waves -.-

2) hundred flowers campaign.. translate it to chinese, so it will be bai hua yun dong! haha imagine hundreds of flowers doing exercise! ahahah!

3) communism with a 'human face' h aahhaha!

4) all the soviet union's leaders keep dying ahahah! (go read the txt book!)

studying history with chia really makes me happy ( : well at least, we finished the chap on failure of communism! yay! and i shall complete coastal studies, social studies singapore governance, read through plate tectonics and practise emaths!

I happened to be reading some people's blog at this rather unearthly time of mine
(usually i will in in bed or..doing something other than blog hopping.)
I was thinking about the issue on overseas education.

Why is this issue getting into so many students. It is till this rather great and influential extent
that i feel the...well i wont say the urgent need but the...push to follow suit.
I suppose this is a really selfish thought but think about it..
if the number of students leaving Singapore to complete their studies out of this island puny pathetic island is increasing, the probability of the non-overseas educated students getting a high paid job or a decent professional job would be so much lesser. hah was really feeling kinda helpless at the rate so many students are planning to go overseas. Planning for my future you see..

Back to the main topic.. i would not be shocked that in years to come, even a job like an accountant or nurse would require a certificate, certifying that one has completed a certain course in a certain university or institution overseas.
LIke i just mentioned earlier on, the whole issue of further educationing overseas is getting implanted into me. All the casual conversations i had with countless people and friends and relatives and stories i heard is having this unknown pushing effect, bringing my nearer and nearer to that aspect. The thought of prestigious university like oxford, cambridge, havard! haha hmmm many, is making me thirsty hah! i sound like a vampireee!! That is only what i dream of, defnitely not something practical or realistic. firstly, i do not have such advanced and juicy brains. secondly, it would take me a torturous time to adapt. thridly, i cant bear to leave my parents alone (my parents' age are not like any average 16 year old teen parents would be).
lastly, im timid. im carry this personalality that never dares to risk and step out of my little comfort zone. sad huh?

On the other hand, singapore's education system is killing all smart little human beings.
i do feel like a stupid guinea pig resulting from the great failure of the singapore " oh-so-perfect" education system. What's with the bilingualism policy? Everyone, even a 10 year old kid could tell that it is simply not working well as expected. Instead, it is having adverse effects.
ever heard of this canto saying :" although you have many knives, but none of them are sharp".
We are like one with many knives, but none is up to standard to slice meat or whatever.
Look at us, english? chinese? mostly, almost every suck at at least one of them. Or me, the absolute helpless and hopeless freak, who suck at both. Fancy me getting all As for my humanities, maths and sciences but a C for damn english and a B for my mother tongue. How an embarrassment and a disgrace i am to my race. While i was filling up the section of results under my DSA form, the unsightly c6 and b4 totally marred my picturesque bueatiful strings of A s and im rather pissed about that. > : (

grrrr, i'm just feeling resentful.

i've just received a phone call from vjc band to go for auditions
well its on the 18 june 11.40am. i think im alone ):
im feeling rather jittery and scared haa. and phyllinda wont be there );

I actually forgot to tap my card on the bus when i was talking to that vj person.
then when i sat down i was wondering why the bus didnt move.
then i saw people turning back to look at me and the bus driver looking at me. ahh
only did i realise i forgot to tap my card O_O!
ahaah so embarrassing.
and i have to learn minor scales. this is really bad...
i've got a strong feeling i will screw up ahah but oh wells.
the chances of getting in is really slim so i will just go there and enjoy myself.
OK not exactly enjoy but just.. do my best and get a new experience (: yea..
